FarmAhead Customer Partnership Project Manager (Maternity Cover), Arla - Leeds
Are you an experienced Project Manager who enjoys bringing together customers, farmers and internal stakeholders to deliver programmes that create meaningful sustainability impact?
This fixed-term maternity cover opportunity sits within our Customer Agriculture team and is responsible for delivering FarmAhead™ Customer Partnership projects. Working across customers, farmer owners and internal teams, you'll play a central role in ensuring projects are planned, coordinated and successfully delivered from initiation through to completion.

How you will make an impact
As FarmAhead Customer Partnership Project Manager, you'll work alongside colleagues across Commercial Agriculture, Sustainability and Customer teams to deliver high-profile customer programmes. You'll be responsible for turning partnership commitments into measurable outcomes, ensuring projects remain on track, within budget and deliver maximum value to all stakeholders. This maternity cover role reports into the Senior Commercial Agriculture Manager UK. Based on the information provided, the location and working pattern should be confirmed.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of FarmAhead™ Customer Partnership projects
- Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, resources and governance processes
- Build strong relationships with customers, farmers, internal teams and external partners
- Produce programme reporting, dashboards, customer updates and impact analysis
- Drive continuous improvement and support the growth of the FarmAhead proposition
What will make you successful
We're looking for an experienced project professional who can successfully coordinate multiple workstreams whilst building trusted relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.
You will bring experience managing complex projects or programmes involving multiple stakeholders and be comfortable balancing competing priorities. You'll possess strong planning, organisational and governance capabilities, alongside excellent communication and reporting skills.
Experience working within customer-facing environments would be highly beneficial, particularly where sustainability, agriculture, environment, food production or supply chain programmes are involved. Knowledge of agriculture, sustainability initiatives, environmental programmes or FMCG supply chains would be advantageous but is not essential.
To succeed in this role, you'll be highly organised, collaborative and proactive, with the ability to influence stakeholders and maintain momentum across multiple projects.
