The Opportunity:
Build a relationship-driven B2B sales career with Southern Plains Co-op. As an Agro Sales Representative, you will work with growers, commercial customers, and industrial clients across our southeast Saskatchewan trading area, helping them access the products, services, and solutions that support their operations.
This role is focused on prospecting, growing customer accounts, strengthening long-term relationships, and supporting the continued growth of our Agro business while identifying related Bulk Fuel opportunities.
What you’ll do:
The Agro Sales Representative is responsible for growing sales and achieving sales, margin, and customer contact targets. Working collaboratively with the Management team, you will:
Prospect for new business and grow existing Agro customer accounts while identifying related Bulk Fuel opportunities.
Build trusted relationships with growers, commercial customers, and industrial clients through a consistent customer contact program.
Promote Southern Plains Co-op’s Agro products, services, and solutions based on customer needs and business opportunities.
Work with internal managers, agronomy experts, and suppliers to provide practical, customer-focused solutions.
Monitor customer needs, market conditions, and competitor activity to support effective sales planning and territory growth.

Who you are
You are a relationship-driven sales professional with a strong interest in agriculture, business development, and customer growth. You understand that successful B2B sales is built on trust, follow-through, and practical solutions.
You have:
Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in agriculture, crop inputs, fuel, B2B sales, or a related field.
Strong account management skills, with the ability to grow existing customer relationships and develop new business.
Grade 12 education; agriculture, agribusiness, or related post-secondary education is considered an asset.
Strong communication, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently, manage a customer contact program, and follow through on commitments.
Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence.
Local knowledge of the agriculture industry in southeast Saskatchewan and the surrounding trading area is considered an asset.
