AI Agentic Financial Analyst
About us
Mongentic develops custom AI software, data systems, and research analytics platforms for clients. Projects include market-data integrations, AI-agent and MCP workflows, technical indicators, backtesting and simulation tools, and dashboards for equity and digital asset research. We seek trading-domain knowledge to translate client research needs into precise software features and testable prototypes. This is a software development and research role with no live trade execution, investment advice, portfolio management, or custody of client assets.
Key responsibilities
Translate clients' financial-market research needs into technical specifications and testable software features.
Develop and integrate models with MCPs, then refine them based on performance and market conditions.
Develop technical indicators, visualizations, and research dashboards for equities and digital assets.
Work with AI agents to design market narratives, strategies, and actionable ideas across assets.
Apply market-structure knowledge and technical analysis to improve research software and data interpretation.
Prototype analytical models and strategy concepts using historical data and simulated environments.
Create backtesting frameworks and reproducible tests to evaluate software functionality and data quality.
Test, document, and maintain research tools in collaboration with clients and internal engineers.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong understanding of equity and cryptocurrency markets, charting, and trading concepts.
Hands-on experience with TradingView, LuxAlgo, OpenMarket, or comparable market analytics platforms.
Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and PineScript.
Experience with market-data research, technical indicators, or backtesting tools.
Familiarity with AI agents, MCP integrations, APIs, and data engineering workflows.
Ability to translate research concepts into technical requirements; strong English communication skills.
