AI and Automation Engineer

About the role

At Paul Marlex, we are collaborating with a consolidated and leading company in its sector, in the search for a Python / PHP Programmer - Automation and AI to join its Technology team, located in Vic (Osona).

We are looking for a technical profile with experience in software development, process automation, and systems integration, who wants to participate in technological transformation projects and apply AI solutions to improve the efficiency of the company's different departments.

What you'll do

Your main objective will be to design, develop, and implement automation and artificial intelligence solutions that allow for the optimization of internal processes, the connection of systems, and the improvement of the company's operational efficiency.

• Identifying automation and process improvement opportunities together with the different departments.
• Designing and developing applications, tools, and automated workflows that respond to real business needs.
• Developing integrations between different platforms and corporate systems (ERP, CRM, BI, Office, etc.) through APIs.
• Applying artificial intelligence tools and technologies to the development of business solutions.
• Supervising, maintaining, and optimizing implemented automations, guaranteeing their correct functioning.
• Collaborating with internal users and technological providers in the implementation and monitoring of projects.
• Researching new technologies and AI solutions that can bring value to the business.

What we're looking for

• Degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent technical training.
• Practical experience in software development, process automation, and application integration.
• Programming knowledge in Python and/or PHP.
• Knowledge of Linux, APIs, and databases.
• Experience using artificial intelligence tools for application development.
• Fluency in Spanish and Catalan.
• It is essential to currently reside in Vic or in any municipality in the Osona region.
• Availability to work 100% on-site in Vic.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and autonomous profile with the ability to collaborate with different business areas.

Nice to have

• Experience developing automation projects with AI in business environments.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, its APIs, and ABAP programming.
• Experience with Docker.
• Specific training in artificial intelligence or automation.
• Technical level of English.
