Insight Global is seeking a AI and Platform Engineer to join a rapidly growing, venture-backed technology company that is leveraging Generative AI and LLMs to transform the way businesses engage with customers. This is a hybrid opportunity (2-3 days onsite).
This role is ideal for a strong software engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and wants to work at the intersection of software development, AI, and scalable SaaS platforms. You'll play a key role in enhancing an existing product used by a growing customer base while helping shape the next generation of AI-powered capabilities.

What You'll Do
- Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain product features across AI and platform initiatives
- Develop and enhance applications powered by Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Create, evaluate, and optimize prompts to improve AI performance and customer outcomes
- Integrate and work with leading AI providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, and others
- Resolve production issues, support tickets, and customer-reported challenges
- Build scalable backend services and distributed systems
- Collaborate closely with Product, Customer Success, and Implementation teams
- Contribute to feature development, bug fixes, system improvements, and platform enhancements
- Help identify technical challenges impacting customer experience and drive solutions
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience as a Full Stack Engineer, Backend Engineer, or Software Engineer
- 1-2+ years of hands-on experience building AI-powered applications
- Experience working with LLMs and prompt engineering
- Exposure to AI providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or similar technologies
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, system design, and software architecture
- Experience building scalable SaaS applications and backend services
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment

- Experience with AWS services and infrastructure
- Previous startup or high-growth SaaS experience
- Experience integrating with CRMs or sales technology platforms

Salary expectations: $130k-$160k/yr + equity
