AI Application Developer [CCP for ICT Professionals (Software and Applications)]
Role Overview
We are looking for an AI Application Developer to help build Ravenue's core software product: backend services, frontend application surfaces, platform integrations, data workflows, MCP tools, and AI-enabled product features.
This is a hands-on software development role with an AI application focus. The role will personally write, review, test, debug, and maintain application code while working closely with the technical lead and product team to turn real ecommerce operator needs into reliable product features. The role will build software development skills through implementation, source control, code review, documentation, and supervised use of modern AI-assisted development tools.
Key Responsibilities
Write, review, test, commit, and maintain application code for Ravenue's backend services, frontend application surfaces, and internal tools.
Implement application logic, API routes, database-backed workflows, data transformations, and business-rule checks.
Support platform integrations across ecommerce, marketing, inventory, finance, and AI tool surfaces.
Build and maintain MCP server capabilities, tools, resources, and context-packaging flows for Ravenue business data.
Implement AI-enabled product features using LLM APIs, prompt workflows, tool calls, structured outputs, and response validation.
Build scripts, prototypes, internal utilities, and workflow automations that support Ravenue product development.
Prepare structured ecommerce, marketing, inventory, and finance context for application features and AI-assisted workflows.
Translate approved product requirements into implementation notes, technical tasks, and testable software behaviour.
Write and maintain tests, evaluation cases, QA checklists, and release validation notes for product features.
Debug software issues across application logic, integrations, data workflows, MCP tools, and AI-assisted features.
Use source control, participate in code review, respond to technical feedback, and support integration testing and release checks.
Write and maintain technical documentation for application features, integrations, tests, and releases.
Use modern AI-assisted development tools under technical supervision while building strong software engineering fundamentals.
What You Will Work On
Ravenue's web application, including operator-facing screens, internal admin tools, and workflow surfaces.
Backend services, APIs, database models, and business logic for ecommerce operating workflows.
MCP tools and context services that allow AI clients to access Ravenue business context safely and reliably.
Platform connector workflows that use data from ecommerce, ads, inventory, and finance platforms.
AI-assisted product features that help operators understand sales, inventory, marketing, and finance data.
Prompt and tool-call flows for answering operator questions using Ravenue data.
Evaluation and testing workflows for software features, AI-generated insights, and recommendations.
Practical automation features that reduce manual work for small ecommerce teams.
Required Attributes
At least five years of overall professional experience in product management, operations, project delivery, quality assurance, or a related field. Prior professional software-development experience is not required. Strong interest in software development, product engineering, and AI-enabled applications.
Willingness to work hands-on with code, APIs, frontend components, backend services, tests, debugging, and documentation.
Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
Comfortable learning new technical concepts and working under technical supervision.
Able to communicate clearly with product, engineering, and operations stakeholders.
Practical interest in ecommerce operations, marketing data, inventory, sales, finance workflows, and business automation.
Helpful Skills And Experience
Exposure to software development, scripting, automation, APIs, frontend development, backend development, source control, or technical documentation.
Familiarity with LLM tools, prompt engineering, structured outputs, or AI-assisted workflows.
Experience with QA, testing, bug tracking, release validation, or workflow documentation.
Experience working with product teams, technical teams, or cross-functional delivery teams.
Interest in ecommerce platforms, marketing platforms, data analysis, or business operations.
