Summary
Onsite AI Solutions Architect (direct hire) for a global technology services organization in the DFW (Southlake, TX) or Atlanta area, working hands-on with development teams to design and implement enterprise AI applications and automations. Core stack: .NET/C#/SQL plus AI platforms like Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, GitHub Copilot, and Amazon Bedrock.
NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a global technology services organization to identify an AI Solutions Architect in DFW or Atlanta area. This is a direct-hire opportunity requiring a 100% onsite schedule, focused on designing, developing, and implementing AI-powered applications and automation solutions across the enterprise.
This position is ideal for a hands-on application architect with a strong software development background and proven experience implementing AI solutions in production environments. The right candidate will have expertise in Microsoft technologies, modern application architecture, and enterprise AI platforms, with the ability to translate business challenges into scalable, secure, and practical AI applications.
Rather than focusing exclusively on AI strategy or research, this individual will work directly with development teams to architect and implement AI-enabled workflows, internal applications, and automation tools that improve business operations and customer experiences.
Required:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, preferably within a Microsoft technology environment utilizing .NET, C#, SQL, and related application technologies
- 2+ years of hands-on application or solutions architecture experience, including designing scalable enterprise applications and system integrations
- 2+ years of professional experience designing, developing, or implementing AI-enabled applications, automations, or enterprise AI solutions
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, GitHub Copilot, Amazon Bedrock, or comparable AI platforms and technologies
- Ability to independently design AI solution architectures, evaluate business use cases, establish technical standards, and collaborate with development teams to deliver working solutions
Preferred:
- Experience developing AI-powered customer service tools, call center assistance applications, intelligent workflows, or internal business automation solutions
- Strong experience with enterprise application integrations, APIs, JavaScript frameworks, AWS, or other cloud technologies
- Experience implementing AI governance, security controls, responsible AI practices, and scalable enterprise architecture standards
- Background integrating AI solutions with enterprise platforms such as ERP, CRM, or other business applications
- Experience within insurance, telecommunications, technology services, or other large-scale customer-facing environments
