Are you passionate about advancing AI silicon technology? We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager – AI ASIC Memory Compiler to join MediaTek's Memory Design Automation Team, where you will contribute to developing next-generation memory compiler solutions for advanced semiconductor technologies.
In this role, you will collaborate with global engineering teams to develop high-performance, low-power, and area-optimizedmemory compiler design kits and automation flows that enable cutting-edge AI ASIC products.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with worldwide memory design teams to develop advanced memory compiler solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain Memory Compiler automation flows.
- Deliver robust, high-performance memory design kits for advanced process technologies.
- Develop behavioral, FPGA, timing, and DFT simulation models.
- Debug, validate, and optimize SRAM models for ASIC implementation flows.
- Improve design automation methodologies to enhance performance, scalability, and productivity.
- Work closely with ASIC, CAD, and design teams to ensure seamless memory integration.
Requirements
Mandatory Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Memory Compiler, ASIC Design, Memory Design Automation, or VLSI development.
- Strong programming and scripting skills in:
Perl
Shell
Python
C/C++
- Solid understanding of:
Verilog (Behavioral, RTL, and Synthesizable)
Liberty (.lib) timing syntax
- Hands-on experience with ASIC simulation tools such as:
Synopsys VCS
Cadence NC/Xcelium
Preferred Skills
Experience with one or more of the following EDA tools:
- DFT: LogicVision, Tessent, FastScan
- Synthesis: Synopsys Design Compiler, Cadence Genus
- Simulation: VCS, QuestaSim, NC/Xcelium
- Static Timing Analysis (STA): PrimeTime
Additional experience in the following areas will be highly regarded:
- SRAM and ROM compiler development
- VLSI design methodologies
- Advanced semiconductor process technologies
- AI/ML infrastructure or automation frameworks
