Build and maintain AI-augmented data pipelines in Snowflake using dbt, Fivetran, and AI coding assistants like Claude Code to deliver clean, tested data for C&A’s e-commerce division.

On behalf of our partner C&A, we are looking for the best talent to join rindus. C&A is a multinational retail clothing brand, with stores in all Europe. We are currently collaborating with their e-commerce division, with the headquarters in Düsseldorf (Germany). The role will be part of a distributed team from our office in Málaga (Spain) or from home.
What you’ll be doing
- Build and maintain data pipelines from source systems into Snowflake.
- Configure and manage Fivetran data ingestion.
- Develop dbt models, tests, macros and documentation.
- Design staging, intermediate, mart and semantic data layers.
- Define and implement data contracts.
- Build automated testing and data quality validation.
- Use AI coding assistants such as Claude Code to improve engineering productivity.
- Work with MCP-connected tools to orchestrate workflows across the data platform.
- Review, validate and productionize AI‑generated code.
- Contribute reusable templates, best practices and engineering standards.
What you’ll bring
- 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Snowflake.
- Practical experience with dbt Cloud (models, tests, macros, documentation, CI/CD).
- Advanced SQL and data modeling skills.
- Experience building and maintaining ELT data pipelines in modern cloud environments.
- Hands‑on experience with Fivetran or similar ELT/ingestion tools.
- Experience developing and maintaining production‑grade end‑to‑end data pipelines.
- Experience with Git‑based development workflows.
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts.
- Experience implementing
- Automated data testing
- Data documentation
- Data quality best practices
- Experience using AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot or similar) as part of the software development lifecycle, including reviewing and validating AI‑generated code.
- Experience working with a Modern Data Stack.

- Experience with Claude Code.
- Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol).
- Experience with Cursor.
- Experience building or maintaining Semantic Layers (including dbt Semantic Layer).
- Knowledge of Data Contracts.
- Experience with Data Observability tools.
- Experience with Data Quality Frameworks such as Great Expectations or Soda.
- Python for automation.
- API integrations and orchestration.
- Experience with Agentic AI workflows.
