6-month full-time remote contract building a fleet of internal AI agents and automation tools for a Melbourne HVAC company: Claude Code/Anthropic API agents, Microsoft Graph and Simpro integrations, document parsing, scheduled agents, and a lightweight internal dashboard.
Salary: ₱70,000 – ₱100,000 per month
About the role
Full-time 6-month contract working from a backlog of written specifications, one bounded tool at a time. You report directly to the Managing Director with a weekly video check-in. Strong likelihood of extension, with the roadmap running well past 6 months.
Key responsibilities
Build AI agents and automation tools using Claude Code and the Anthropic API (agentic workflows, tool use, prompt design)
Integrate with the Microsoft Graph API (SharePoint document libraries, Outlook mail and calendar) using OAuth 2.0 delegated auth
Build against the Simpro Premium REST API (job costing data, cost centres, webhooks) for estimating and margin tools
Develop scheduled and event-driven agents (Task Scheduler/cron): inbox triage, job-folder scanning across large document sets, exception reporting
Document and data processing: PDF/DOCX parsing, structured extraction from schedules and drawings, Excel outputs (pandas/openpyxl or equivalent)
Build a lightweight internal dashboard that reads from the tools' outputs
Maintain all work in GitHub with documentation as you build
About you
2+ years software development in Python and/or Node.js/TypeScript
Demonstrated shipped work using Claude Code (or Cursor/similar) and LLM APIs in production
REST API integration experience including OAuth 2.0
Git/GitHub workflow and solid documentation habits
Clear plain-English communication with non-technical stakeholders
Reliable internet, own dev machine, full-time WFH capacity with partial Melbourne (AEST) overlap

We already run a Philippines team of four (senior estimator, junior estimator, marketing, bookkeeping), some with us for years. We are building an internal fleet of AI tools and agents on our own data, and we're hiring the developer who builds them.
