AI & Automation Engineer (AI Agents)

Salary: Rp 3.500.000 – Rp 4.500.000 per month

About the role

ARAH Coffee is seeking an AI Automation Engineer to build AI agents and automation that solve real business problems. You will understand business processes, identify relevant opportunities, and develop AI agents and automation solutions that are actually used, reliable, and deliver measurable impact.

Key responsibilities

• Gather user needs and map workflows to identify AI and automation opportunities

• Develop AI agents, AI workflows, automation, system integration, and internal tools for real business needs

• Build workflows using n8n, API, webhook, database, and custom code

• Develop logic and integration using JavaScript and Python or Go

• Connect AI with business data and tools to generate relevant outputs or actions

• Perform testing, debugging, monitoring, and ensure solutions run reliably in production

• Support users from discovery, implementation, through continuous improvement

• Help users understand and use solutions independently

• Measure solution impact on work time, errors, rework, output quality, or other business processes

• Build solutions that are maintainable, scalable, and reusable

About you

• Hard requirement: Have built and implemented AI agents, AI workflows, or automation for real business cases actually used by users in real work environments

• Hands-on experience with n8n, REST API, webhook, authentication, and system integration

• Able to write, read, and debug JavaScript, and proficient in at least Python or Go/Golang

• Proficient in SQL and PostgreSQL for application needs, automation, data validation, and integration

• Experience integrating LLM/API into AI workflows or agents, including structured output, tool calling, evaluation, and handling non-conforming output

• Understand error handling, duplicate prevention, logging, monitoring, access control, and recovery in production solutions

• Able to gather user needs, map workflows, and translate business problems into usable solutions

• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical solutions in language non-technical users understand

• Take ownership from discovery, development, testing, implementation, through improvement

• Able to demonstrate how built solutions create real change in work processes

• Experience in multi-outlet business, retail, hospitality, or F&B is a plus
