Description

About the role

You will join our AI Automation function. Teams across the company bring us processes they want to automate. You take a request from the first conversation to a working tool that people use. You are the first person colleagues ask about AI tools and how to use them safely.

What you will do

  • Sit with a team, learn how they work, and find the steps that take their time.

  • Agree with the process owner what to automate and what good output looks like.

  • Collect real examples and build a test set before you build anything.

  • Build the automation, with or without AI, whichever the problem needs.

  • Hand it over with short docs, and support the team after go-live.

  • Answer colleagues' questions about AI tools, prompts and our AI usage rules.

Must have

  • You read the API docs of a third-party service and get a working connection on your own, for example to an accounting, HR or courier system.

  • You know when not to use an LLM, and you build rule-based scripts when the steps are mechanical.

  • You build test sets before go-live, and you can pull data out of documents such as contracts and invoices.

  • You read and understand code (Python, SQL, JSON). You don't need to be a developer.

  • You use and build with Claude, Gemini and coding agents every day: skills, Gems, agents.

  • You have strong general tech and computer knowledge.

  • You know the risks: personal data and GDPR, security (keys, access, prompt injection), and AI output that is confidently wrong.

  • Good English.

Nice to have

  • n8n or a similar workflow tool.

  • Google Workspace and Apps Script.

  • Power BI, GA4 or other analytics data.

  • Generating documents from templates.

  • Basics of the EU AI Act.

  • E-commerce experience.

How you work

  • You get the real need out of people, also when they describe it vaguely.

  • You explain technical things simply, without jargon.

  • You say "no" or "not like this" when a request is risky or not worth building.

  • You know what to decide alone and what to escalate.

  • You follow through: you chase answers and access, and you close loops without reminders.

  • You organise your own work in a small, remote team.

  • You stay patient when the same question comes for the tenth time.
