About the Role

We're looking for an experienced AI Business Analyst to join our AI Centre of Excellence and help deliver AI and automation solutions across AA Insurance.

In this role, you'll combine strong business analysis expertise with AI domain knowledge to shape solutions, and support adoption of AI capabilities across the business. Working closely with business stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams, you'll lead discovery, analyse processes and data, elicit requirements, develop and refine prompts and agent instructions, and manage testing to ensure AI and automation solutions deliver meaningful business outcomes.

Success in this role requires curiosity, adaptability, and a passion for applying AI to solve business problems. You'll be comfortable navigating ambiguity, challenging assumptions, exploring new approaches, and helping stakeholders understand where and how AI can be applied safely, responsibly, and effectively to create business value.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead discovery activities, stakeholder workshops, and requirements elicitation to define functional and non-functional outcomes for AI solutions.
• Lead the delivery of automation initiatives, to ensure solutions successfully implemented and deliver measurable business value.
• Develop and maintain high-quality process maps, user stories, business requirements, and supporting artefacts
• Provide AI subject matter expertise and trusted advice on the safe, responsible, and effective application of AI to address business challenges and opportunities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business objectives and user needs into effective prompts and agent instructions that deliver intended outcomes.
• Plan and execute testing to ensure AI and automation solutions meet business requirements and deliver intended outcomes.
• Support the ongoing maintenance and monitoring of existing solutions.

A Bit About You

• Significant experience as a Business Analyst delivering AI, automation, and complex technology solutions.
• Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, manage evolving priorities, and deliver outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, presentation, and communication skills,
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience analysing business processes, workflows, and data.
• Experience working with Generative AI solutions, including prompt development, agent instruction design and testing.
• A passion for AI and emerging technologies, with a commitment to continuous learning.
