A global energy business is hiring a Senior AI Business Analyst into its enterprise technology function. You'll decide where GenAI and automation genuinely earn their place, then own the analysis that gets them delivered responsibly.
The AI Business Analyst role
- Identifying and qualifying AI use cases across the business, from root cause analysis through feasibility to business case
- Owning requirements definition and prioritisation on AI and automation initiatives, including user stories and AI-assisted user journeys
- Setting measurable criteria for usability, accessibility and responsible use of AI, and holding delivery to them
- Modelling business processes, data and AI-assisted workflows with subject matter experts
Essential experience for the AI Business Analyst
- Commercial GenAI delivery: use cases taken into live production in a business setting, not pilots or personal experimentation
- AI governance: responsible AI criteria, model risk, data usage controls, or work aligned to frameworks such as the EU AI Act or ISO/IEC 42001
- Requirements gathering and translation into functional and technical specifications
- Business process modelling and workflow automation
- Full life-cycle ownership of business applications, in Agile and/or Waterfall environments

- Data pipelines and ETL for analytics and AI
- Predictive modelling
