AI Cloud Network Architect
Summary
Design and lead end-to-end architectures for AI data center networks, interconnects, and global backbones supporting large-scale GPU clusters and AI workloads.
You will design and lead end-to-end architectures for AI data center networks, data center interconnects, and global backbone networks supporting large-scale GPU clusters and AI workloads. You will define network resources and standards, collaborate with vendors and engineering teams, produce technical documentation, and drive architecture improvements to completion.
Responsibilities
- Plan and design AI data center, data center interconnect, and global backbone networks
- Define IP addressing, VLAN/VXLAN, and bandwidth resources
- Lead GPU cluster, spine-leaf, front-end, and out-of-band network architecture
- Design underlay networks and integrate overlay networks
- Tune congestion control using PFC, ECN, and in-band network telemetry
- Produce architecture documentation, topology diagrams, configuration standards, and SOPs
- Identify architectural risks and drive improvement roadmaps
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field
- 8+ years of network architecture design and planning experience
- Expertise in InfiniBand and RoCEv2 architecture design
- Experience with BGP, OSPF, ECMP, VxLAN, EVPN, Segment Routing, optical transport networks, and DWDM
- Experience planning and deploying large-scale cluster networks
- Cross-functional and cross-cultural communication skills
