AI Data Engineer (entry level) - SPVL

We are looking for AI Data Engineer to work on government projects within Cybersecurity domain:

INFRASTRUCTURE & PLATFORM MANAGEMENT:

1. Provide supporting engineering for multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP, including cloud-native services such as compute (EC2), storage (S3), network security (firewalls, WAF, proxy), data warehouses (BigQuery), AI/ML platforms (Vertex AI, AWS SageMaker, Azure ML), and analytics tools (Looker).
2. Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and cloud resource management using Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent tools.
3. Provide supporting engineering for on-premises infrastructure setup, including bare metal server provisioning and configuration.
4. Design and deploy specialised purpose platforms tailored to specific operational requirements.
5. Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of multi-cloud infrastructure.

AUTOMATION & DEVELOPMENT:

1. Design, develop, and maintain automated workflows and orchestration pipelines for SOC operations.
2. Implement CI/CD pipelines for automation and AI services deployment.
3. Develop custom automation solutions using Python scripts, shell scripts, and other programming languages as required.
4. Deliver and maintain automation and supporting infrastructure across internet, intranet, and local environments, as required for operational needs.
5. Provide supporting engineering on automation across operations, including AI call centre and workflow systems.
6. Provide supporting engineering for automated workflows, orchestration pipelines, and integration frameworks for operational requirements.

SECURITY OPERATIONS:

1. Provide supporting engineering on incident response playbook work in SOAR and related tooling under direction and priorities from SOC operations.

DATA & INTEGRATION:

1. Build integration frameworks connecting SIEM, SOAR, and threat intelligence platforms across cloud environments.
2. Develop and implement data integration solutions to supplement current platforms with external data sources.
3. Collaborate with AI Software Engineers to integrate AI capabilities into automated workflows.

How to Succeed

• Experience in data engineering, AI technologies, AWS and automation experience
• Experience in Python and SQL on cloud analytics warehouses
• Background/knowledge in Cybersecurity will be an added advantage
• Entry level position, training will be provided
