AI & Data Science Specialist — Fashion Tech & ML Ops

Prada Group in Milan seeks a Data Science Specialist to join Data & Analytics within IT. You will design, develop and industrialize AI and Generative AI solutions across content production, supply chain and customer experience, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has hands-on cloud experience, can manage projects end-to-end and coordinate external developers, with Python, PySpark, and ML Ops in a fashion and luxury context.

Design, develop and deploy AI and Generative AI solutions across the Group's main business areas, such as content production (computer vision), supply chain and customer experience. Manage data science projects end-to-end, from business requirements and prototyping to production, ensuring alignment with enterprise platform standards. Plan and monitor project activities, providing regular reporting on progress, risks and results to IT and business stakeholders. Collaborate with the Data Engineering and Data Visualization teams, other IT functions and business stakeholders, managing dependencies across cross-functional programs. Build and maintain scalable data and ML pipelines on cloud platforms, monitoring model performance and contributing to ML Ops best practices and reusable frameworks. Master’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering) or equivalent experience. 3+ years of hands-on experience in data science and AI across different business domains, with models brought to production. Advanced proficiency in Python and PySpark, solid knowledge of SQL; experience with Generative AI (LLMs, RAG) and computer vision is a plus. Strong experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and Databricks or equivalent tools (MLflow, Feature Store, Model Serving); familiarity with ML Ops practices. Experience in project management and coordinating external suppliers, ideally with Agile methodologies; previous experience in Fashion & Luxury is a plus. Excellent communication skills and ability to bridge technical and business language; fluency in Italian and English, written and spoken.
