AI Data Scientist on AWS (Hybrid Madrid)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer / Data Scientist to join a strategic project in the insurance sector, developing and industrializing advanced AI, NLP, and LLM-based solutions on AWS. The position will participate in automation initiatives, transcription analysis, and knowledge generation from large volumes of data, working in close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

• Participate in challenging projects with cutting-edge technologies.
• You will have the autonomy to propose solutions and technically lead initiatives.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and implement Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions in production environments.
• Build use cases based on Large Language Models (LLMs) and NLP techniques.
• Design and optimize prompts for conversation analysis, transcriptions, and information extraction.
• Develop Python solutions for data processing, analysis, and exploitation.
• Integrate AI models and services through corporate APIs and cloud services.
• Deploy and maintain solutions on AWS using SageMaker, Bedrock, S3, and IAM.
• Design data models and manage information persistence in Snowflake.
• Develop advanced SQL queries for analytical exploitation and insight generation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define and implement new AI capabilities.

Who are we looking for (M/F/D)?

• University degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Mathematics, or another STEM discipline.
• Around 4 years of experience as an AI Engineer, Data Scientist, or in similar positions.
• Solid experience in Python development.
• Demonstrable experience implementing AI solutions in production on AWS.
• Advanced knowledge of AWS SageMaker, AWS Bedrock, Amazon S3, and IAM.
• Experience in Prompt Engineering applied to NLP and LLM models.
• Ability to integrate solutions via REST APIs and corporate services.
• Experience in Snowflake (data modeling, table administration, and management of analytical environments).
• Advanced SQL proficiency for data exploitation and persistence.

Nice to have

• Experience in multinational and multi-country environments.
• Experience in AWS multi-account architectures.
• Knowledge of MLOps and AIOps.
• Previous experience in the insurance or financial sector.
