The AI & Data Security Engineer serves as the enterprise technical lead for AI Security and enterprise Data Security within Global Cybersecurity Operations. This role partners closely with Global IT and Business teams to enable the secure adoption of Artificial Intelligence while protecting enterprise information across applications, cloud services, collaboration platforms, and emerging technologies.
From a cybersecurity perspective, the engineer provides technical guidance, performs security assessments, develops technical standards, and helps security integrate into AI-enabled solutions from design through implementation. As the organization's AI capabilities mature, this role will help establish scalable security patterns and engineering practices that enable innovation while reducing enterprise risk.
Data Security
• Protect enterprise data across applications, collaboration platforms, cloud services, AI technologies, AI-enabled solutions and other enterprise platforms.
• Drive enterprise initiatives related to information protection, data classification, data loss prevention (DLP), and secure data governance.
• Recommend and implement technical controls that reduce the risk of unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse of enterprise data while enabling business productivity.
• Partner with AI, application, and business teams to ensure enterprise data is securely accessed, processed, stored, and governed throughout the AI lifecycle.
• Assess data security risks associated with emerging technologies and recommend practical controls that enable secure business adoption.
Operational Excellence
As a capability owner within Global Cybersecurity Operations, this role is expected to contribute to the day-to-day operation of the cybersecurity program.
• Participate in enterprise incident response as required.
• Ensure appropriate security observability, logging, and monitoring exist for supported technologies.
• Maintain assigned operational work queues, technical documentation, standards, and implementation guidance.
• Partner with other cybersecurity capability owners to support shared initiatives, major incidents, and operational resilience.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, engineering excellence, knowledge sharing, and cross-training.
• Experience in cybersecurity engineering, cloud security, application security, data security, or a related technical discipline.
• Practical knowledge of Artificial Intelligence concepts, including Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, prompt injection, AI application architecture, and secure AI design principles.
• Understanding of enterprise data protection concepts, including data classification, data loss prevention (DLP), information protection, data governace, and secure data handling practices.
• Experience performing technical risk assessment, security reviews, and communicating practical risk-based recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated curiosity and ability to rapidly learn emerging technologies.
• Exceptional English communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and business stakeholders across global regions and functions.
