An exciting opportunity has opened with a fast-growing Australian AI business building and deploying Generative AI voice agents for enterprise contact centres.
As the business continues to scale across Australia and the US, they are looking for an AI Deployment Manager to take ownership of how their technology is delivered into enterprise clients.
This is not a traditional Project Manager role. You will sit at the intersection of customers, engineering, conversation design and analytics, owning deployments from initial scope through to production.
The Role Partnering closely with Customer Success, you will take end-to-end ownership of multiple enterprise AI implementations at once.

You will:

• Own the day-to-day delivery of 2 to 4 enterprise AI deployments
• Translate client requirements into clear, actionable technical work
• Coordinate engineering, conversation design and analytics teams
• Drive sprint priorities, timelines, blockers and delivery commitments
• Own deployment readiness, go-live decisions and post-launch hypercare
• Troubleshoot integration and delivery issues alongside technical teams
• Work with customers to determine which calls, journeys and workflows should be automated next
• Build lightweight processes and automation that improve delivery velocity
• Communicate technical challenges and trade-offs clearly to senior client stakeholders
• Over time, help establish the operating rhythm for the Australian delivery function
• Contribute to technical scoping and delivery planning before new engagements are signed

You will have real ownership and decision-making responsibility, without necessarily having direct reports.
What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who is comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where priorities change and you will not always have perfect information.

You will ideally bring:

• Experience owning complex projects, implementations, products or programmes end to end
• Strong technical curiosity and the ability to work confidently with engineers
• An understanding of areas such as APIs, integrations, SQL, scripting, automation or prompting
• Experience translating business requirements into something technical teams can execute
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to run both detailed technical sessions and senior stakeholder conversations
• Experience creating practical processes in environments where structure did not previously exist
• Strong judgement and the confidence to make decisions when delivery moves off plan
• A pragmatic approach to process, using the minimum structure required to get things delivered
• The ability to influence teams without relying on formal authority

A technical background would be highly regarded, however you do not need to be a production software engineer. What matters is that you can understand how systems work, investigate problems and hold your own in technical conversations.
What Success Looks Like Within your first few months, you will independently own live client programmes, establish clear release and readiness rhythms, and work with Customer Success to translate automation roadmaps into executable builds.
Longer term, you will help own delivery across the Australian client portfolio, improve deployment velocity and become a trusted voice in scoping future customer engagements.
