AI, Digital Twin & Robotics Project Development Consultant
Summary
Six-month consulting attachment assisting in AI, robotics, IoT, and digital twin projects, including client requirement gathering, vendor evaluation, and project documentation.
This is a six-month structured attachment under the Mid-Career Pathways Programme. The position reports to the Technical Director and interfaces with internal project stakeholders, technology vendors and potential clients.
The trainee will support Vaughn International Pte Ltd in developing Robotics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Digital Twin and automation-related business solutions. The attachment will provide practical experience in client requirement gathering, business-process mapping, technical-commercial documentation, vendor evaluation, project planning and responsible use of AI tools.
Specific Responsibilities
- Develop familiarity with Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Digital Twin and automation solutions and their potential business applications.
- Analyse client business operations and assist in identifying operational requirements, workflow gaps, pain points and opportunities for technology adoption.
- Support client and stakeholder requirement gathering and prepare business-process maps, workflow summaries and requirement documentation.
- Assist in preparing project briefs, technical-commercial proposals, feasibility notes, research summaries and implementation plans.
- Use approved AI tools to support research and document preparation, while verifying all information for accuracy and ensuring appropriate human review.
- Conduct vendor, technology and solution research and prepare comparison tables covering specifications, features, costs, implementation requirements, timelines, support and limitations.
- Assist in project coordination, stakeholder engagement, meeting documentation, timeline tracking, task follow-up and proof-of-work reporting.
- Support responsible AI, confidentiality, data-handling, document-control and quality-assurance practices.
- Prepare progress reports and a final project presentation covering work completed, learning outcomes and recommendations.
