AI Engineer
Salary: $28,000 – $32,000 per month
About the role
We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. This is a full-time position based in Lai Chi Kok, Sham Shui Po District. As an AI Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying artificial intelligence solutions that drive innovation across our organisation. This position is integral to our strategic objectives, enabling us to leverage cutting-edge AI technologies to solve complex business challenges and deliver enhanced products and services to our clients.
Key responsibilities
Deploy different AI models to address business problems and improve operational efficiency
Build and optimise data pipelines to support AI and machine learning workflows
Implement and deploy AI solutions in production environments, ensuring scalability and reliability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to integrate AI capabilities into existing systems
Conduct research and evaluation of emerging AI technologies and frameworks to maintain competitive advantage
Develop and maintain documentation for AI systems, models, and algorithms
Perform code reviews and contribute to best practices in AI engineering and software development
Monitor and troubleshoot deployed AI models, addressing performance issues and retraining as necessary
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through to maintenance and support
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ ML Engineering, or a related discipline
3+ years of professional experience in software engineering or AI development
Proficiency in Python
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
Experience with cloud platforms is highly desirable
Familiarity with containerisation technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes, is preferred
Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git, and experience with CI/CD pipelines
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
Experience with big data technologies, data engineering, or data analysis is a valuable advantage
