AI Engineer - AWS Bedrock
Summary
Develops and deploys scalable enterprise AI solutions using Amazon Bedrock, focusing on GenAI services and RAG pipelines. Integrates AWS services like Lambda and Textract for secure, production-ready applications.
The Mid-Senior Applied AI Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and
deploying scalable artificial intelligence solutions within an enterprise AI
platform.
Moving beyond basic implementation, this role requires architectural
thinking to build robust GenAI services, complex retrieval pipelines (RAG), and
agentic workflows.
The engineer will partner closely with AI Program
Management, Data & Analytics, and business stakeholders to translate
validated business requirements into secure, production-ready AI applications.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in Generative AI,
LLMs, Agentic AI, NLP, and AI workflow development using Amazon Bedrock
- Expertise in building RAG-based AI solutions with
Amazon Bedrock Knowledge Bases, embeddings, vector retrieval, grounding,
and citation strategies
- Experience developing intelligent document
processing solutions using Amazon Textract, OCR workflows, summarization,
classification, extraction, and business Q&A systems
- Proficient in prompt engineering, AI guardrails,
hallucination mitigation, responsible AI practices, and implementing
human-in-the-loop AI workflows
- Strong Python programming skills with experience
integrating AI solutions using AWS services such as Lambda, S3, Step
Functions, EventBridge, SQS, IAM, Secrets Manager, and CloudWatch
