AI Engineer – Capital Markets / Financial Markets Domain
Salary: RM 10,000 – RM 11,000 per month
About the role
We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer with strong Capital Markets / Financial Markets domain expertise to drive the discovery, design and implementation of AI-powered solutions. The ideal candidate will combine deep understanding of financial markets with hands-on experience building Agentic AI solutions, AI applications and data-driven platforms.
Key responsibilities
Work closely with senior business stakeholders to understand business challenges and identify AI opportunities
Lead discovery sessions and translate business requirements into AI solution concepts
Design and develop AI-powered solutions using modern Agentic AI tools and frameworks
Develop AI agents, workflows and intelligent automation solutions
Apply prompt engineering and LLM-based techniques to solve complex business problems
Work with data engineering teams to prepare, transform and integrate data required for AI solutions
Support end-to-end AI product development, implementation and deployment
Collaborate with senior stakeholders, technology teams and business users throughout the solution lifecycle
Present AI concepts, solution designs and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders, including MD-level stakeholders
Evaluate emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities to improve business processes and decision-making
About you
Strong practical knowledge and experience in Capital Markets / Financial Markets domain areas such as: Capital Markets, Financial Markets, Trading, Securities, Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Investment Banking, Markets Operations / Front Office / Middle Office
Hands-on experience with relevant AI tools and frameworks, including: DIFY, Google ADK, LangStack / LangChain ecosystem, Agentic AI frameworks, LLM applications, Prompt Engineering
Strong experience with Data Engineering, ETL / ELT, Data pipelines, Data integration, Data transformation, and working with structured and unstructured data
Strong hands-on AI engineering and solution development experience
Ability to translate business requirements into practical AI solutions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Comfortable engaging directly with senior business stakeholders and MD-level stakeholders
Ability to work independently and drive initiatives from discovery through implementation
