AI Engineer II

Copper State Bolt & Nut Company is seeking an AI Engineer II to develop and support practical AI, data, and automation solutions that improve business performance and decision-making.

The ideal candidate is hands-on across AI, data engineering, automation, APIs, Power Platform, Azure, Power BI, and enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI applications, copilots, agents, predictive tools, and proof-of-concepts.
• Build data pipelines and integrations with D365, Power BI, SharePoint, SQL, and third-party systems.
• Develop analytics and ML solutions for forecasting, recommendations, inventory, pricing, search, and customer insights.
• Build automation using Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, Microsoft Fabric, and Python.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and support production solutions.
• Apply security, privacy, documentation, and responsible AI practices.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, IT, and other teams to identify and implement solutions.
• Support user adoption through documentation, training, and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience developing and deploying software, data, automation, or AI solutions in a production environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Power BI, Power Platform, REST APIs, ETL, data modeling, and Azure.
• Experience integrating enterprise systems and multiple data sources.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
• Candidates must currently reside in Arizona or be willing to relocate to Arizona. Local candidates are preferred.

Preferred

• Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Fabric, or D365 Finance & Operations.
• Machine learning, vector databases, RAG, AI agents, or MLOps experience.
