AI Engineer/Developer

Salary: £60,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements:

• Software engineering experience, ideally in C# or Python
• Experience with Azure, including Azure Fabric, Data Factory, ML Studio, Foundry, Synapse, and Cosmos DB
• Experience working with stakeholders and collaborating with wider technical teams
• Experience with GenAI and LLM APIs
• Experience designing, testing, and deploying AI/ML solutions
• Experience with chatbots or agents
• Experience with FastAPI
• Experience with Microsoft Agent Framework
• Experience with LangChain
• Experience with vector databases
• Experience in ML engineering

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement AI-driven solutions to address complex business challenges
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI technologies into existing systems
• Research and apply advanced machine learning algorithms and techniques to improve business processes
• Analyse large datasets to derive actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making
• Develop and maintain scalable AI models using industry best practices
• Monitor the performance of AI systems and troubleshoot issues as they arise
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and advancements in AI and machine learning

We are a financial sector client looking to grow our AI team with a new AI Engineer. This is a brand-new role within a team of 20, working on new projects and products that use data to make smarter, better decisions. The role is hybrid, with 2 days in Central London and 3 days working from home.
