AI Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Build and maintain RAG pipelines and LLM workflows (ingestion, embeddings, retrieval, evaluation)

• Develop, maintain, and support AI applications (Generative AI, RAG, Knowledge Base, Agentic AI, fine-tuning) from prototype to production

• Integrate AI applications and agents with MCP and REST APIs in collaboration with application teams

• Optimize latency, throughput, and cost; instrument token usage, model observability, guardrails, and error handling

• Collaborate cross‑department to plan and deliver AI/ML features

• Ensure security, privacy‑by‑design, and data governance when handling PII

• Continuously research and adopt the latest AI trends, tools, and methodologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field

• 2-3+ years of experience working with AI/ML technologies

• Proficient in Python (data/ML) and at least one of Node.js / C# / Java for service integration

• Hands‑on with LLMs (Azure OpenAI / Google Vertex AI) on prompt engineering, embedding, RAG, and vector search

• Experience in e-commerce platforms or related domain is preferred

• Familiarity in ML frameworks (PyTorch / scikit-learn, TensorFlow) is a plus

• Knowledge of MLOps and cloud environments (MLflow, CI/CD, Docker; Azure/AWS) is a plus

• Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior AI Engineer
