EquityMind in Milan is assembling a small but impactful AI engineering team to evolve a live AI research assistant that analyzes US stocks using SEC filings and financial data. You will have real ownership over technical and product decisions alongside the founder.
You will extend pipelines, improve data retrieval, and move the system to AWS while considering a future mobile version with spoken briefings. Join a fast-moving startup with tangible impact.
Extend the agent pipeline (LangGraph): understanding questions, data source selection, tool calling, report generation. Improve retrieval quality and evaluation tooling (hallucination checks, data coverage, regression tests). Migrate the system to AWS and ensure production readiness. Shape future features, including a mobile version with spoken briefings. Strong Python and LLM experience with RAG, tool calling, agents. Shipped an AI product to real users (strong plus). Comfortable with PostgreSQL/pgvector and FastAPI. Reliability-focused with tests, evals, and measurable metrics. Collaborative with clear communication and code reviews.
