AI Engineer - Full stack

Summary

Full-stack AI Engineer leading enterprise-grade application development, using AI pair-programming tools like GitHub Copilot/Claude Code and agentic IDEs for spec-driven, intent-based code generation, legacy re-platforming, and architecture ownership.

Type of employment : Permanent or Contract

  • 12+ years of hands-on full stack development of enterprise-grade applications, across front-end, back-end and data layers.
  • Strong command of modern languages, frameworks, microservices, REST/event-driven APIs and cloud-native architecture.
  • Proven ability to define and own an architecture vision, set patterns, standards and drive them through delivery.
  • Deep expertise in enterprise security, data privacy and adherence to multiple organisational and regulatory policies.
  • Experience engineering for business continuity, resilience, high availability and disaster recovery (BCM).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills across technical and business teams.
  • Hands-on experience with spec-driven development frameworks (e.g GitHub Spec-Kit) for writing specifications, plans and tasks that drive code generation.
  • Practical experience with intent-based development, translating high-level intent into working, testable software rather than manual line-by-line coding.
  • Proficiency with AI pair-programming assistants such as GitHub Copilot paired with Claude Code for large-scale, production-grade code generation and refactoring.
  • Working experience with agentic AI IDEs / cloud coding agents (e.g., AWS Kiro) for spec-to-code and autonomous task execution.
  • Ability to reverse-engineer and re-platform legacy applications from limited vendor documentation, strategy/configuration files and tacit process knowledge.
  • Skilled at structuring SME knowledge-elicitation by defining a repeatable approach to convert undocumented process knowledge into precise, AI-consumable specifications and developer-ready requirements.
  • Ability to take initiative and lead technically along with people management skills without being implicitly authoritative and to orchestrate interfacing with external databases, systems and cross-functional teams.
