AI Engineer – Gen AI & Cloud ML, Remote

SDG Group Italy is seeking AI Engineers with 1–3 years of AI/ML experience. You will join an international delivery unit, working on projects across Fashion & Luxury, Utilities, Banking, Insurance, and Healthcare.

Full lifecycle AI development from problem framing to production-ready systems. Modeling across traditional methods and Generative AI (LLMs, Transformers). Industrialization and AIOps to move models to the cloud with scalable, reliable deployments. Cloud mastery across AWS, GCP, and Azure; leverage Databricks, SageMaker, Vertex AI. Translate datasets into actionable business insights for clients. Collaborate with Data Engineers to deploy models into live environments. Master’s degree in a STEM field is required. 1–3 years of AI/ML/Data Science experience. Proficiency in Python and its ecosystem (NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn). Familiarity with Git, virtual environments, and SQL/NoSQL databases. Understanding of ML basics (regression, classification, clustering) and experience with Generative AI tools (LLMs, fine-tuning).
