AI Engineer – Generative AI & Cloud Solutions

SDG Group Italy is seeking AI Engineers with 1–3 years of AI/ML experience to join its international AI & ML Engineering team. You will work on high-impact projects across Fashion & Luxury, Utilities, Banking, Insurance and Healthcare, with exposure to Generative AI and production-grade ML systems.

Full lifecycle AI development from problem framing to production-ready systems. Implement a range of models from traditional to Generative AI using LLMs. Industrialization and AIOps to cloud-ready, scalable deployments. Cloud mastery across AWS, GCP, and Azure with Databricks/SageMaker/Vertex AI. Translate data into actionable insights and communicate findings to clients. Collaborate with Data Engineers to deploy models into live environments. Master’s degree in a STEM field (CS, Engineering, Math, Data Science or related). 1–3 years of AI/ML/Data Science experience with Python and ML tools. Proficiency in Python ecosystems (NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn). Familiarity with Git, virtual environments, and SQL/NoSQL databases. Understanding of ML concepts and Generative AI (LLMs, tuning, prompts). Italian language at C1 level and English proficiency (testing during interview).
