AI Engineer
Summary
An AI Engineer role in Central London focused on designing and building AI, machine learning, and generative AI applications in production. Salary: £90,000 - 120,000 per year
Requirements:- Commercial experience designing and building AI, machine learning, or generative AI applications
- Strong Python engineering skills and experience developing production-grade software
- Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, and Azure Machine Learning
- Knowledge of modern AI frameworks such as LangChain, Hugging Face, or PyTorch
- Deep understanding of LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases, prompt engineering, agentic AI, and multi-agent systems
- Experience deploying, monitoring, and optimising AI solutions in production environments
- A builders mindset and passion for solving complex technical challenges from first principles
- Ability to commute to a London office once per week
- Desirable: experience with AI orchestration and workflow frameworks
- Desirable: knowledge of knowledge graph or semantic search technologies
- Desirable: experience with model fine-tuning and evaluation
- Desirable: knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD, containerisation, and cloud-native deployment practices
- Desirable: experience developing autonomous agents and reasoning systems
- Design and develop agentic AI systems capable of autonomous decision-making and task execution
- Build LLM-powered applications, orchestration frameworks, memory architectures, and tool-use capabilities
- Develop custom AI workflows using large language models, retrieval systems, and multi-agent architectures
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to embed AI into real-world business processes
- Contribute to the architecture and evolution of our proprietary AI platform in a greenfield environment
