Y Combinator AI Engineer
Summary
Build and maintain ML infrastructure and agentic AI systems, shipping features from prototype to production in a small, in-person San Francisco team.
We're looking for a AI Engineer to help build our ML platform and the infrastructure behind our AI employees. You'll need a deep understanding of AI, and from day one you'll own real projects and shape the future of Jarmin.
In any given week you'll be:
- Improving ML pipelines, training models, or building new agentic capabilities
- Designing & building complex backend systems
- Putting out whatever fire just flared up
- Taking a feature from idea to production (UX, build, & ship)
- Building new internal tools so we can move faster
- Hacking quick prototypes to find out if they're useful
Ideally you:
- Turn vague problems into clear action items
- Ship code constantly
- Geek out on the newest AI tech/trends/ideas
- Enjoy diving into problems you've never seen before
- Hold a high bar and own the quality of everything you touch
- Love in-person team culture (we're in San Francisco)
