AI Engineer (Java/ GCP)

In Cyclad we work with top international IT companies in order to boost their potential in delivering outstanding, cutting-edge technologies that shape the world of the future. We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer with Java and GCP knowledge to join the AI Development team.

Project information:

• Type of project: IT Services

• Office location: Kraków

• Work model: Hybrid – 1 day per week from the office

• Budget: 110-130 PLN net/ h - b2b

• Project length: long-term

• Only candidates with citizenship in the European Union and residence in Poland

• Start date: ASAP (depending on candidate’s availability)

Project scope:

• Design, build, and deploy scalable AI/GenAI solutions in production

• Integrate LLM-based features and AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude) into applications and workflows

• Develop and maintain Java-based microservices for AI-driven systems

• Build and maintain AI solutions in the GCP environment

• Design modern, reliable, and high-performance architectures

• Promote AI adoption to improve development processes and products

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly

• Ensure code quality, performance, and best engineering practices

• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver workable solutions

Competence demands:

• 6+ YoE in software engineering, AI engineering, or related roles

• Experience working with AI tools such as Copilot, Claude, or similar solutions

• Very good knowledge of Java and experience working with microservices

• Experience in implementing GenAI or LLM-based solutions in production environments

• AI mindset – openness to using artificial intelligence in software development and process improvement

• Practical knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Ability to design modern, scalable technology solutions.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Very good English skills

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of integration patterns for AI-based systems

• Experience working in an Agile environment and in cross-functional teams
