AI Engineer
LAKEORA is a Riyadh-based data and AI advisory firm and a pure-play Databricks partner. We build the governed data platforms that Saudi enterprises run their decisions on, going deep on one platform rather than wide across many, with governance designed in from the start. We are early-stage, flat, and deliberately small. You work directly with customers, own the architecture you design, and see it reach production. We like engineers who are direct, curious, and would rather get something right than get it agreed.
What are we looking for?
We're looking for a Generative AI Engineer who can design and build production-ready GenAI solutions that solve meaningful enterprise business problems.
You'll work with large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, agents, vector search, and modern AI frameworks to build secure and scalable applications on top of enterprise data.
We're looking for someone who understands that successful GenAI is more than prompting—you'll need to think about architecture, data quality, evaluation, governance, security, performance, and production reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop production-grade Generative AI applications and services
Build solutions using large language models (LLMs), RAG, agents, and related GenAI techniques
Develop pipelines for document ingestion, chunking, embedding, retrieval, and generation
Integrate LLMs with enterprise data sources, APIs, applications, and workflows
Design and optimize prompt strategies and context-management approaches
Implement vector search and semantic retrieval solutions
Evaluate AI applications for accuracy, relevance, hallucination, latency, and quality
Develop guardrails, monitoring, and governance mechanisms for enterprise AI applications
Optimize solutions for scalability, reliability, performance, and cost
Collaborate with data engineers, ML engineers, architects, and client stakeholders
Translate business problems into practical AI use cases and technical solutions
Develop prototypes and take successful concepts through to production
Maintain technical documentation and contribute to solution architecture
