AI Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Deploy AI-assisted coding tools to enable secure and efficient application development. Build and maintain MCP platforms and software components for AI, agentic, and automation solutions. Develop Generative AI applications and services that integrate AI capabilities into existing enterprise platforms and processes.
- Design and develop AI-enabled workflow automation solutions using APIs, scripts, low-code platforms, and orchestration frameworks to optimize manual and repetitive tasks. Support user acceptance testing, production rollout, change management, and continuous improvement of automation solutions.
- Establish monitoring for AI application performance, model behavior, usage metrics, errors, latency, costs, and user adoption. Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and production support for AI systems.
- Integrate responsible AI principles, data privacy, cybersecurity, and risk management requirements into solution design and deployment. Support AI risk assessments, security reviews, privacy impact assessments, model validation, and governance approvals. Monitor emerging AI risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including application development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, and business units to deliver secure, scalable AI solutions.
- Assist with proof-of-concepts, pilot projects, demonstrations, and change management implementation. Provide user support, technical training, and promote responsible AI practices and knowledge sharing across the company.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline. Relevant professional certifications in cloud, AI, data, cybersecurity, automation, or software engineering are an advantage.
- Around 5 - 6 years of software engineering, automation, AI engineering, or systems implementation experience. 2+ years of hands-on AI solution development experience at an enterprise level, preferably involving Generative AI, RAG, LLM applications, workflow automation, or agentic AI solutions.
- Proven experience delivering AI applications from proof-of-concept through production deployment and post-implementation support.
- Strong software engineering skills including API development, system integration, and scripting. Familiarity with cloud platforms, low-code tools, and orchestration frameworks.
- Python and Java are mandatory, with strong coding, debugging and testing capability.
- Practical experience in AI security and controls, including prompt injection mitigation, data leakage prevention and usage monitoring is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, self-motivated and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
