AI Engineer

Protai is a drug discovery startup combining unique structural proteomics and Generative AI to accelerate rational drug design. We are looking for a motivated and experienced AI engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Build AI drug discovery tools such as protein structure prediction, drug activity prediction and additional drug properties estimation.
• Develop benchmarks and perform data analysis to evaluate model performance on real-world drug discovery projects.
• Translate complex biological data into clear, strategic insights that drive team-wide execution.
• Collaborate with drug discovery and chemists to design drug candidates and advance drug discovery programs.

Requirements

• BSc/ MSc, Computer Science, computational biology or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience with one of the following languages: Python/C++/Java/C#/Go/Rust.
• Deep expertise in modern deep learning frameworks and experience training and fine-tuning large-scale generative models
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
