About you Commercial experience in AI Engineering, Applied AI or a related software engineering role Strong programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript Experience integrating large language models (LLMs) and AI APIs into applications Knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings and vector databases Familiarity with AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph or similar Understanding of REST APIs, cloud environments and application architecture Experience with Azure, AWS or other cloud platforms would be advantageous Strong problem-solving skills and an interest in emerging AI technologies What you'll do Design, develop and deploy AI-powered applications and solutions Integrate LLMs, AI APIs and intelligent capabilities into existing systems Develop AI-driven workflows, agents and automation solutions Build and maintain scalable applications using modern engineering practices Evaluate AI solution performance, reliability and output quality Collaborate with software, data and product teams to deliver technical solutions Contribute to the ongoing improvement of AI development practices and architecture Please note: Applicants must currently be based in Belfast or elsewhere in Northern Ireland.
