Zomint is building India's Default Financial Advisor, helping mass-affluent families make smarter financial decisions through AI-powered research, intelligent portfolio monitoring, and expert human advisory.
We are looking for an AI Engineer who can build and deploy intelligent AI-powered products, conversational agents, and end-to-end LLM solutions.
Role Overview
We are looking for an engineer with hands-on experience in building and shipping AI-powered products, particularly voice, text, and multimodal agents. The ideal candidate should be capable of owning the complete development lifecycle, from data ingestion and retrieval to agent orchestration, backend integration, and user-facing interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, deploy, and maintain AI agents across voice, text, and multimodal applications.
- Design and develop end-to-end chatbot workflows and conversational experiences.
- Build and integrate RAG pipelines using vector databases, structured databases, APIs, and document-based data sources.
- Develop agent architectures with prompt engineering, context management, retrieval, and tool/function calling.
- Own the complete AI product pipeline, from data ingestion and processing to backend logic and frontend integration.
- Integrate LLMs and third-party services to build scalable, production-ready AI solutions.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven automation and intelligent product experiences.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience building AI/LLM-powered products.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end AI application development and full-stack integration.
- Experience building and deploying production-grade chatbots and conversational AI agents.
- Practical experience with both voice-based and text-based AI agents.
- Hands-on experience with RAG pipelines, vector databases, structured databases, and third-party API integrations.
- Familiarity with AI agent frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar.
- Experience working with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or equivalent.
- Ability to independently own and deliver AI features from concept to production.
Good to Have
- Experience with real-time voice AI pipelines and tools such as Whisper, ElevenLabs, Deepgram, or similar.
- Exposure to multi-agent orchestration and advanced agent architectures.
- Understanding of function calling, tool integration, and multimodal AI systems.
