We are looking for a Specialist AI Software Engineer to technically lead the construction of solutions based on Generative AI and Machine Learning, accelerating the adoption of intelligent technologies in the company's products.

This professional will be responsible for defining AI application architectures, technically leading strategic initiatives, developing scalable solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), and integrating AI services into existing products, always aligned with best practices in software engineering, security, and governance.

We expect a professional with solid experience in Java and Cloud development, architectural vision, strong analytical skills, and a continuous interest in the evolution of the Artificial Intelligence ecosystem.

Daily Responsibilities

• Technically lead Generative AI projects and intelligent solutions;

• Design architectures for applications based on LLMs, RAG, and AI agents;

• Develop Java applications integrated with AI and Machine Learning services;

• Work together with Architecture, Product, Data, and Engineering teams on the evolution of solutions;

• Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and AI models;

• Define development standards for AI-based applications;

• Ensure security, governance, scalability, and observability of intelligent solutions;

• Provide technical support to other engineers in the adoption of AI within products;

• Perform proofs of concept (POCs) for new AI capabilities.

• Implementation of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions;

• Development of intelligent agents (AI Agents);

• Integration of foundational models into company products;

• Evolution of AI platforms with a focus on scalability, cost, and performance;

• Definition of engineering standards for AI applications;

• Development of reusable components for AI consumption;

• Automation of processes using AI;

• Technical mentorship for engineering teams.

• Solid experience in Java 17+;

• Event Driven Architecture;

• CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions);

• Docker;

• Kubernetes.

• Practical experience with Generative AI;

• Large Language Models (LLMs);

• Prompt Engineering;

• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG);

• AI Agents;

• MCP (Model Context Protocol);

• OpenAI API, Azure OpenAI, or Amazon Bedrock;

• LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks;

• Embeddings and vector databases (Pinecone, OpenSearch, pgvector, Weaviate, ChromaDB);

• Fine-tuning and model evaluation (when applicable);

• Knowledge of Responsible AI, governance, and security for AI;

• Model evaluation, metrics, and cost and performance optimization.
