AI Governance Specialist – Platforms & Controls

Support the development and operationalization of AI governance frameworks, policies, standards, and control requirements.

Provide governance advisory for enterprise AI solutions built on Microsoft and cloud ecosystems.

Assess AI platform guardrails and governance controls including:

Identity and access management (IAM)
Data protection and privacy controls
Tenant isolation
Encryption and key management
Content filtering and AI safety mechanisms
Logging, monitoring, and audit capabilities

Support governance-by-design implementation within AI development and deployment processes.

Partner with Data & AI, Cloud, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Risk, and Compliance teams.

Translate technical AI platform capabilities into governance requirements and business controls.

Research emerging AI governance trends, regulatory requirements, industry practices, and responsible AI frameworks.

Support continuous improvement of AI governance practices and control maturity.

Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related disciplines.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in one or more areas:

AI Governance
Responsible AI
Technology Risk Management
AI/Data Platform Implementation
Cybersecurity Governance

Strong understanding of:

AI risks and responsible AI principles.
Enterprise AI platforms and cloud architecture.
Power Platform
AI security controls and governance mechanisms.
Cloud security and identity management concepts.
Data protection, encryption, monitoring, and compliance controls.

Soft Skills

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Self-driven with strong ownership and initiative.

Ability to collaborate across multiple teams.

Preferred Experience

Previous experience within financial services, banking, insurance, or highly regulated industries.

Familiarity with technology risk frameworks, cybersecurity standards, or regulatory requirements.
