Role Overview

The AI Implementation Specialist will design, build, and implement AI-powered operational systems that improve how the organization works. This role sits at the intersection of software development, business analysis, and automation, requiring someone who can understand business problems and independently translate them into working technical solutions.

The ideal candidate has a strong software development background, enjoys building systems from the ground up, and actively uses AI development tools such as Claude Code to accelerate implementation. This is a hands-on, build-focused role for someone who can analyze workflows, identify automation opportunities, develop solutions, and own them from concept through deployment and ongoing optimization.

AI Implementation Specialist

Key Responsibilities

AI Systems Development & Implementation

• Build and implement AI-powered solutions that improve internal operations.

• Develop custom workflows, automations, and intelligent systems based on business requirements.

• Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code to accelerate software development and implementation.

• Design, test, and continuously improve AI-enabled processes.

• Own technical solutions from initial concept through deployment and ongoing optimization.

Business Process Analysis & Automation

• Analyze existing business operations to identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities.

• Map workflows and translate operational challenges into practical technical solutions.

• Design automated processes that reduce manual work and improve scalability.

• Partner with stakeholders to understand operational requirements and priorities.

• Continuously identify additional areas where AI and automation can create business value.

Software Development & Technical Building

• Apply software development experience to build practical AI-powered solutions.

• Write, test, and maintain code supporting internal systems and automations.

• Build integrations between tools, platforms, and business workflows.

• Troubleshoot technical issues and improve system reliability.

• Apply strong engineering practices while maintaining speed of execution.

• Build and ship software solutions that address real operational needs.

AI Automation & Workflow Design

• Create AI-driven workflows that automate repetitive and complex tasks.

• Build and manage AI agents that support operational processes.

• Connect AI tools with existing business systems and workflows.

• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and determine how they can be applied to business needs.

• Continuously test, iterate, and improve AI-powered workflows.

Internal Operations Systems

• Build and improve internal operational systems.

• Create scalable processes that allow the organization to operate more efficiently.

• Document workflows, systems, and technical processes.

• Own improvements to AI-powered operational infrastructure.

• Collaborate with leadership to identify and prioritize automation initiatives.

• Proactively identify opportunities to strengthen existing systems and processes.

Qualifications

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in software development, automation, AI implementation, or a related technical field.

• Strong background building and shipping software solutions.

• Experience creating internal tools, operational systems, or automation workflows.

• Experience analyzing business processes and translating requirements into technical solutions.

• Experience owning technical projects from development through implementation and optimization.

• Hands-on experience using AI tools within software development or automation workflows is strongly preferred.

Skills

• Strong software development skills and understanding of modern engineering practices.

• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code or similar AI development assistants.

• Ability to build custom automations, integrations, internal systems, and AI-powered workflows.

• Ability to design and implement AI agents that support operational processes.

• Strong understanding of workflow automation and systems integration.

• Ability to write, test, maintain, and troubleshoot code supporting business systems.

• Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills.
