AI Inference Core SDET Technical Lead Release Integration Testing
Summary
Technical lead role establishing and owning release integration testing for Cerebras' AI Inference Core: defining quality strategy and readiness criteria, designing test architecture, leading end-to-end cross-stack validation and release triage, and mentoring engineers. Core technologies are Python or Go, test automation, and distributed/systems-level AI inference software.
You will establish and lead release integration testing for AI Inference Core. You will define quality strategy and readiness criteria, design test architecture, lead cross-stack validation and release triage, improve release metrics and automation, mentor engineers, and make evidence-based release decisions.
Responsibilities
- Define release integration testing strategy, ownership boundaries, readiness criteria, coverage expectations, and escalation thresholds
- Identify dependencies and interaction risks across the inference stack
- Review test evidence and approve integration readiness before release entry
- Lead integrated end-to-end validation and risk-based release regression
- Improve branch stability through health metrics, reporting, dashboards, workflows, and release pipelines
- Lead regression and rollout triage, root-cause analysis, and coverage improvements
- Mentor engineers and improve automation, diagnostics, probes, and test planning
Requirements
- Software-engineering fundamentals and programming ability in Python, Go, or a similar language
- Technical leadership experience in software quality, test infrastructure, systems validation, release engineering, or software integration
- Experience designing automation and test architecture for distributed, systems-level, infrastructure, or AI software
- Ability to investigate ambiguous cross-stack failures and drive resolution
- Understanding of risk-based testing, release readiness, regression strategy, failure analysis, and quality metrics
- Ability to align multiple engineering teams
- Clear communication and judgment during high-pressure releases
