About the role

We are looking for a Senior AI Infrastructure & Cloud Automation Engineer to help transform traditional infrastructure operations into an AI-driven, highly automated environment.

This position focuses on designing, building, and operating AI agents capable of managing infrastructure monitoring, system administration, cloud operations, and operational optimization.

You will combine strong infrastructure engineering fundamentals with practical Agentic AI experience to develop autonomous and semi-autonomous workflows that improve reliability, reduce manual intervention, and optimize operational costs.

We are looking for a hands-on engineer who can independently identify automation opportunities and deliver secure, production-ready solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate AI agents for infrastructure monitoring, system administration, and cloud operations.
• Automate infrastructure health checks, incident detection, troubleshooting, and operational remediation.
• Build agent-driven workflows for Microsoft 365 license monitoring, allocation, optimization, and compliance.
• Implement intelligent monitoring, alert correlation, and automated incident response.
• Use AI coding agents to develop and maintain infrastructure scripts, configurations, and automation tools.
• Manage and optimize Azure-based infrastructure and Microsoft enterprise services.
• Establish approval mechanisms, access controls, and audit trails for AI-driven infrastructure changes.
• Integrate AI automation with observability, IT operations, and cloud management platforms.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual administration, operational costs, and incident response times.
• Independently lead infrastructure automation initiatives from design through production operation.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience in Cloud Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Operations.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience using AI coding tools.
• 1+ year building and operating AI agents, orchestration workflows, or agent harnesses.
• Demonstrated experience implementing AI-driven automation in production environments.
• Experience working with Azure, AWS, GCP, or comparable cloud infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure monitoring, system administration, and operational automation.
• Programming or scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or equivalent languages.
• Experience with infrastructure automation, configuration management, or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Strong understanding of cloud security, identity management, and operational compliance.
• Ability to independently design and implement automation solutions with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills and demonstrated examples of operational improvements.
