AI Inhouse Consultant
As Upvest's first dedicated Applied AI hire, you will own AI implementation across the company rather than joining an existing function. You'll identify where AI creates the most leverage across the business, help select and integrate the right tooling, and ship solutions that teams actually use every day. You will connect AI tools to Upvest's internal systems, integrating Claude and other LLMs with internal tools, APIs, and data sources via the Model Context Protocol (MCP), building lightweight integrations where needed and expanding connectivity as use cases grow. You'll spot high-impact automation opportunities, build end-to-end workflows using tools like n8n, and decide when a simple automation beats a complex agent. You will also act as an in-house AI consultant, working 1:1 with colleagues across engineering, operations, and client-facing teams to help them rethink how they work with AI. You'll run discovery sessions, write internal playbooks, and coach colleagues on prompt engineering and AI tooling, all while navigating the data privacy, compliance, and audit requirements that come with working at a BaFin and FCA regulated firm.
