AI Intern

Design and build AI-powered applications including agentic workflows, conversational interfaces, and intelligent automation systems.
Work with voice and language technologies for Urdu and regional languages, building tools accessible to low-literacy and non-technical users.
Develop data pipelines and AI integrations that connect with existing health information systems and operational workflows.
Build internal AI tools that improve organizational efficiency across reporting, data quality assurance, and knowledge management.
Participate in user research to understand end-user contexts and constraints.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, public health, business development, and communications.

Recent graduate in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience building applications using large language model APIs (Claude, GPT-4, Gemini, or equivalent).
Proficiency in Python.
Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript is a plus.
Familiarity with at least one of AI agent frameworks, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), voice/speech processing, or workflow automation.
A portfolio of self-directed projects demonstrating ability to build and deploy functional AI applications beyond academic coursework.
