AI/LLM Team Manager – Expression of Interest

Summary

Lead a team of language specialists and AI associates to deliver, monitor quality, and ensure compliance for Large Language Model programs while managing throughput and turnaround standards.

About the Role

The Team Manager owns the daily delivery, quality and health of a frontline team of language specialists and generative AI associates working on Large Language Model programs. You will run the operating rhythm of the team, hold the line on quality and compliance, and keep your people equipped, developed and performing against demanding throughput and turnaround standards.

This is the first leadership rung in the fastest-growing part of the business.

What You'll Bring

Delivery and Execution

  • Own the day-to-day functioning of the AI/LLM team, supporting the delivery and execution of all deliverables against volume, speed and quality standards
  • Drive project management for the team: agendas, standing meetings, headcounts, stakeholder alignment and program development
  • Understand the strategic goals of the client and prioritize operational tasks to inform capacity planning for project deployment
  • Pave the way for successful project deployment within the client partnership
  • Act as an accelerant on complex cross-pillar and cross-application projects, setting decision and prioritization objectives

Quality, Compliance and Process

  • Collaborate closely with the training and quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with training materials and adherence to client policies
  • Cascade operational information across teams so quality and training standards are applied consistently
  • Implement Innodata Information Security Management System (ISMS) processes and ensure compliance among team members
  • Build and improve workflow solutions, time tracking, resource planning and technology troubleshooting as standing practice

Performance Reporting and Client Engagement

  • Gather and present key performance indicators at internal and client meetings
  • Compile project metrics and consolidate volume and speed data for project management
  • Deliver documentation involving quantitative analysis, industry research and strategy development, working with cross-functional teams to problem-solve
  • Identify actionable insights, make recommendations and influence team strategy through clear communication

People Leadership and Team Health

  • Ensure team members have the resources they need to perform and excel in their daily functions
  • Monitor team morale and run team-building that lifts engagement and performance
  • Support the team through the full project delivery cycle, ensuring concerns are met and questions are answered
  • Support well-being initiatives and liaise with key stakeholders, including Human Resources

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required. A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or another engineering or quantitative discipline is preferred and is a clear advantage in this technology-driven environment
  • Non-technical degrees considered where the candidate demonstrates genuine comfort with technology, data and AI-enabled ways of working

Required

  • English at C1 (CEFR) or above, written and spoken.
  • Clear, structured communicator able to influence a team, brief stakeholders and represent the operation credibly in client meetings

Strongly Preferred

  • Process and project: Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt is a nice-to-have at this level; Green Belt or a project management certification is a stronger signal of a candidate ready to progress quickly
  • AI and data: Any formal coursework or credential in AI, machine learning, data or analytics is an advantage
