About EVONAIRE INC.

EVONAIRE INC. is a Delaware corporation with an internal resolution to convert to a Delaware Public Benefit Corporation (PBC). We are building a consent-based, neuroprivacy-first emotional technology platform beginning with a voice-first MVP.

Our mission is to create technology that prioritizes human dignity, creator ownership, accessibility, and safety. We are remote-first and operate on a sustainable four-day work week.

Role

We are looking for a founding AI/ML Engineer to help build the systems that support our voice-first platform and future AI infrastructure.

This is a hands-on founding role for someone who enjoys working across machine learning, data pipelines, applied AI systems, and product engineering.

What You’ll Work On

• Build and deploy AI/ML services and APIs
• Develop voice and audio processing pipelines
• Design secure data pipelines and model-serving infrastructure
• Create evaluation frameworks and testing systems
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams
• Build scalable systems that can support future multimodal capabilities
• Contribute to technical architecture and engineering strategy
• Help establish AI engineering standards and best practices

Qualifications

• Experience with Python and modern backend development
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Experience building APIs and production systems
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and databases
• Understanding of data privacy and security principles
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently in an early-stage startup environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with speech, audio, or voice technologies
• Experience with LLMs, embeddings, or retrieval systems
• Experience with MLOps and model deployment pipelines
• Startup or founding-team experience
• Experience building products from zero to one

Compensation

• Founding equity: 3%–4%
• Salary: Deferred until revenue generation or grant funding
• Flexible schedule
• Remote-first environment

Time Commitment

• Approximately 20 hours per week
• Monday through Thursday work schedule
• Friday through Sunday reserved for self-care and recovery
