AI / ML Engineer (m/w/d)

• Cutting-edge performance: Build high-performing agentic systems that define the state of the art in healthcare text processing, while being efficient in token usage and leveraging small models wherever possible.
• Observability: ensure each decision and output generated by the agents is traced and the agents’ performance in production is monitored.
• Research: Monitor novel AI/ML approaches and benchmark promising ideas, ensuring the best results from research reach production within weeks.
• Support product development: Use your expert knowledge of AI/ML technologies to evaluate future projects and inform product decisions.

• 2+ years of experience building and shipping ML/AI systems in production
• Strong experience with LLMs and agentic frameworks
• Strong proficiency in your primary language
• Experience with observability, evaluation, and benchmarking of ML systems
• A product mindset: You care about outcomes that lead to great user experiences and are passionate about using LLMs in real-world scenarios instead of academic research
• Nice to have: Experience in healthcare, regulated environments, or working with sensitive data.
