AI / ML Engineer

This role is ideal for a strong programmer with a versatile software development background and a passion for AI, machine learning, and robotics.

What you will do:

• Build and productionize advanced computer vision and multimodal AI systems for real-world industrial deployment, with a focus on VLM/LLM-powered reasoning, machine vision, and advanced spatial AI.
• Transform large-scale visual data collected by autonomous robots into actionable insights for progress tracking, safety monitoring, and project intelligence.
• Develop AI systems for use in robotics, construction, energy, and telecommunications

Required:

• 3+ years of proven academic or industry experience building AI systems.
• Advanced “manual” coding and debugging skills (acquired during the “pre-agentic” era);
• Proficiency using modern AI-assisted development tools
• Solid problem-solving skills, strong ownership, and the ability to communicate clearly across technical and non-technical teams
• Familiarity with data pipelines, model evaluation, and real-world ML workflows

Good to have:

• Strong background in mathematics, statistics, physics, or another highly quantitative field
• Experience with VLMs, LLMs, or multimodal AI systems
• Familiarity with MLOps, cloud infrastructure, and training or deployment pipelines
• Back-end experience with modern frameworks; Django and MySQL are a plus
